Vanessa Fernandez

Vanessa Fernández is a Puerto Rican undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a double major in Sociology and Political Science, complemented by a minor in Legal Studies. Throughout her academic journey, she has contributed to the University's community as the social media manager of the Puerto Rican Student Association. With a profound interest in sociological research, Vanessa has successfully contributed to two distinct projects run by Professor Tormos Aponte. Driven by her belief in social justice, Vanessa advocates for meaningful change and strives to make a positive impact on society.
